Directions to MITX

Taking the "T" to MITX:

Take the Red Line to the Kendall Square Stop. When you exit the station, go THROUGH the Marriott hotel to Broadway and cross the street. Take a right and walk ½ block to Third Street. Take a left on Third Street and follow to 222 Third Street - the American Twine Office Park (about 5 minute walk). We are located on the ground floor in suite 0300 next to the building café.

Alternatively

Take the Green Line to the Lechmere Stop.  Exit the train and turn left to walk up the hill and turn left when you reach the first cross street; this is 2nd St. At the lights, cross over Cambridge Stand then turn right and walk one block to Third St.  Turn left onto Third St., and walk approx. 5 blocks, passing over Charles Street.  Follow to 222 Third Street (on the left hand side) - the American Twine Office Park. We are located on the ground floor in suite 0300 next to the building café.
Either way, plan for a 10-15 minute walk from the  T.

Driving Directions:

From the West:

• Take I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike) East to Exit 18, "Brighton/Cambridge" (exit is on the left).
• After the tollbooth ($1 toll), stay right and follow the sign for "Cambridge/Somerville."
• At the first traffic light, follow the sign for "Cambridge." Continue over the bridge and stay in the right lane.
• At the end of the bridge (before the Mobil gas station) turn right onto Memorial Drive. The Charles River will be on your right.
• Continue east on Memorial Drive for about 2 miles. To avoid accidentally crossing back over the river into Boston while on Memorial Drive:
  • After the first traffic light, stay left and go over the William J. Reid Overpass.
  • After the third traffic light, stay left and continue under the next bridge (Massachusetts Avenue/2A).
  • At the fourth traffic light, move to the center lane and continue under the Longfellow Bridge (an old bridge). Do not follow the sign for "Downtown Boston/Government Center."
  • After the bridge, Memorial Drive turns into Edwin H. Land Blvd. Stay left and follow the signs for "Kendall Square."
• At the fifth traffic light, turn left onto Binney Street.
• Drive 3 blocks. At the second traffic light, turn right onto Third Street.
• Drive 1 1/2 blocks and turn right into the "American Twine Office Park" parking lot (222 Third Street)

From the South:

• Take I-93 North to Exit 26, "Storrow Drive/Cambridge."
• Stay right on the exit ramp, following the signs for "Back Bay/Storrow Drive." 
• On Storrow Drive, stay left and take the first exit, "Government Center/Kendall Square." 
• Stay right on the ramp, following the sign for "Kendall Square/Cambridge/Memorial Drive," and turn right onto the Longfellow Bridge. 
• Once you have crossed the river, you are on Broadway in Cambridge. Continue straight. 
• At the first traffic light, turn right onto Third Street. Wainwright Bank will be on your right. 
• Continue on Third Street through the next traffic light, crossing Binney Street. 
• Drive 1 1/2 blocks and turn right into the "American Twine Office Park" parking lot (222 Third Street), right before the speed bump.

From the North:

• Take I-93 South to Exit 26A, "Storrow Drive/Cambridge."
• Stay left on the exit ramp, following signs for "Storrow Drive/Back Bay," then for "Storrow Drive." 
• On Storrow Drive, stay left and take the first exit, "Government Center/Kendall Square." 
• Stay right on the ramp, following the sign for "Kendall Square/Cambridge/Memorial Drive," and turn right onto the Longfellow Bridge. 
• Once you have crossed the river, you are in Cambridge. Continue straight. 
• At the first traffic light, turn right onto Third Street. Wainwright Bank will be on your right. 
• Continue on Third Street through the next traffic light, crossing Binney Street. 
• Drive 1 1/2 blocks and turn right into the "American Twine Office Park" parking lot (222 Third Street), right before the speed bump.

Parking:

• The front and rear parking lots of the American Twine Office Park each have six common guest spaces, marked "Guest Parking/2 Hours." DO NOT park in other spaces as the building manager has a strict parking/tow policy.
• There are plenty of meter parking spots on Third Street, Rogers Street, and other surrounding streets should the guest spots be taken.

Our Suite:

MITX is located on the ground floor of the American Twine Office Park in suite 0300, directly across from the building café.

• If you enter the building from Third Street, go DOWN one flight of stairs and MITX will be on your left in Suite 0300.
• If you enter the building from Second Street, go DOWN the stairs in front of you and follow the corridor until you reach the atrium with the café. We are in Suite 0300 across from the café. 
• If you arrive during non-office hours, only the rear entrance (at Second Street) will be accessible. Please check in with the security guard to gain entrance to the building. You should dial the recruiter you are meeting with at 617.252.0606 to meet you at the security desk.
