Boston, MA April 19, 2010 - Boston Interactive, a Boston web design, strategy, and interactive marketing firm, announces the launch of a new website for The Harold Grinspoon Foundation (http://www.hgf.org/). The Harold Grinspoon Foundation's (HGF) mission is to enhance the vibrancy of Jewish life in Western Massachusetts and beyond, through its support of education and other experiences that engage Jews in the richness and joy of their heritage. HGF acts as both a funding organization to other institutions and as an initiator of its own programs, striving to develop innovative programs that can be replicated by other Jewish communities and philanthropists.
The Grinspoon Foundation partnered with Boston Interactive in a three-part initiative to redesign the Foundation's website and the sites for two of its Flagship programs, The PJ Library and The Grinspoon Institute for Jewish Philanthropy, both set to launch later this year. The structure of the new sites will provide clear and easy access to information about the Grinspoon Foundation and its initiatives, while allowing the Flagship programs to stand on their own and grow. "The Grinspoon Foundation supports many programs spanning from Western Massachusetts to Israel," says Jim Keller, VP of Interactive Services with Boston Interactive. "In order to educate visitors about each of these programs, Boston Interactive created an informative and easy-to-navigate umbrella site for the Foundation. We're excited to expand that framework and launch new websites for the PJ Library and Grinspoon Institute in the coming months."
The new Harold Grinspoon Foundation website was designed with a welcoming tone and interactive capabilities to foster community and inspire involvement. New functionality, including event registration, newsletter sign-up, and online application submission has been incorporated into the site to engage visitors and streamline internal processes. Each of these capabilities facilitates further communication between the Foundation and current and potential members, allowing visitors to easily become more involved with the organization. "The goal of the Foundation's new website is to provide information on its programs and inspire visitors to take action" says Chuck Murphy, Founder & CEO of Boston Interactive. "By creating a welcoming interactive space, we intend to generate more involvement from the site's visitors. We are thrilled with the outcome of the website and are confident it will help The Grinspoon Foundation achieve its goals."
