Designing at the Intersections

Throughout her career as an industrial designer and UX leader, Kate Freebairn has seen a theme emerge of working at the intersection of hardware and software, and examining end to end experiences to create value in people’s lives.

Identifying these intersections in products and experiences give teams and designers an opportunity to be innovative and intentional in creating new, delightful moments for users. In a world that’s becoming increasingly complex and distributed, it is more important than ever to design with the end to end product experience in mind.
